Store refits case study
After conducting a successful pilot to refresh an initial 10 stores, Swiftcare were awarded the contract by a leading DIY chain to refit and refresh their white goods displays in 225 stores across the UK and Ireland. This included delivery and installation of new appliances, removing the existing display products, PAT testing and re-packaging ready for resale.
Installing on average 900 appliances across 12 stores per week from Inverness to Truro and all points in-between, including Northern Ireland and ROI, required a bespoke solution to ensure the right equipment was in-place when the numerous Swiftcare installation engineers were on-site.
Swiftcare provided a full range of services including order auditing; project management; warehousing; picking; transport; installation; and we even recycled all the packaging from the installations.
“It is level of attention given by the whole team which has been the key to the project’s success”, commented John Worrod – Managing Director at Swiftcare UK. He continued, “from auditing and verification of what products being sent into our warehouse from a number of manufacturers, to the picking, transport and installation of so many diverse products for this project has been a challenge, but one which the team have carried-off seamlessly.”
